Holliday at Coors

Coors Field isn't what it used to be.  But no one's told current Rockies OF Matt Holliday.  He just had a 25-game hitting streak at Coors snapped by an 0-for-4 at the hands of the Phillies on 7/7/07.  Here are the longest hitting streaks by a player at their home park, in the last 15 years:

G PLAYER DATES STADIUM
35
Mark Grudzielanek
5/18/1999-9/14/1999 Dodger
31 Hal Morris 7/30/1996-4/03/1997 Cinergy
31 Nomar Garciaparra 4/20/2003-6/28/2003 Fenway
31 Nomar Garciaparra 5/05/2006-7/09/2006 Dodger
30 Larry Walker 5/18/2002-7/21/2002 Coors
29 Magglio Ordonez 8/25/2002-4/27/2003 Comiskey
27 Eric Young 6/07/1996-7/25/1996 Coors

27 Neifi Perez 4/27/2001-6/22/2001 Coors

25
Dante Bichette
4/26/1995-6/18/1995 Coors
25 Matt Holliday
5/16/2007-7/06/2007 Coors

Notice how many of those are from Coors Field.....and note that relative unknown Mark Grudzielanek has had two long streaks at his home parks, yet his longest overall hitting streak is just 17 games (which he's done twice).
