Holliday at Coors
Coors Field isn't what it used to be. But no one's told current Rockies OF Matt Holliday. He just had a 25-game hitting streak at Coors snapped by an 0-for-4 at the hands of the Phillies on 7/7/07. Here are the longest hitting streaks by a player at their home park, in the last 15 years:
Notice how many of those are from Coors Field.....and note that relative unknown Mark Grudzielanek has had two long streaks at his home parks, yet his longest overall hitting streak is just 17 games (which he's done twice).
